Summer Road Trip Day 7 : Algonquin Park, Ontario
Day 7 was the last day of our trip. We woke up bright and early and headed towards Algonquin Park. It didn’t seem like there were a lot of campers/hikers, at least not on the trails we went on. I had heard of Algonquin Park when I first moved here, but when we arrived it was not what I had expected; I didn’t realize that it was this big and had so many trails.
Bill and I went on 3 trails. There aren’t a lot of pictures to show because it’s pretty much all of the same thing, but the weather was really nice.
We ate some picnic food for lunch and left the park at around 2-3pm to drive back to Toronto for dinner before going home.
Bill really wanted to eat ramen, so I randomly chose a ramen restaurant called “Sansotei”. There was a lineup at the door and we waited about 30 minutes to get seated. This place had pretty good reviews online, but oddly, the ramen wasn’t that great there. However, it was a nice way to end our 7 day road trip, with a bowl of ramen and chicken wings. 🙂
We hope you enjoyed reading about our trip. It was a first for me and I was quite nervous about the long drives at the beginning of the trip. I’m grateful that Bill is always there to push me out of my comfort zone and showing me how beautiful the world really is and helping me understand what life is all about.
Thanks for reading!
