Toronto: ROM

Bill and I decided to take a short day trip to Toronto before the year ends. It was very chilly outside and very hard to take photos with my gloves on, so unfortunately I only took a few shots in the museum.

On our way to the ROM, I saw a really cute bike rack:

I believe this is a Chinese dragon.

Outside the museum. They were showing the Mesopotamia exhibit and Bill was interested in seeing it. No photos are allowed in the special exhibits, but after a while I recalled learning about Mesopotamia in Grade 4. It was interesting that the exhibit triggered some of those childhood memories for me.

To recoup our money’s worth for the special exhibit, Bill and I set out to read every single description. This is after spending 2.5 hours in the special exhibit, we had to sit down.

We initially planned on going to Ripley’s Aquarium as well, but the online tickets were based on admission times and it wasn’t convenient for us since we weren’t sure how long dinner would take. Next time!
