3 Course Meal (Bill’s Birthday – Part 2)

As soon as I came home from work today, I went to check my facebook and youtubed for 1 hour.

Bill’s Birthday Dinner Menu (First Course – Baked Brie with Homemade Fig Jam)

I bought a pack of fresh figs from costco about 2 weeks ago. I couldn’t finish the whole pack and they were ripening quickly, so I decided to cook them with sugar and a bit of lemon juice.

Step 1: Buy Brie Cheese

Step 2: Cut in half

Step 3: Spread Fig Jam

Step 4: Wrap in Puff Pastry

Step 5: Brush with egg whites (from the Tiramisu recipe)

Step 6: Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes

Step 7: Garnish

Main Course – Seared Ahi Tuna on a bed of Japanese Salad (Emily’s Secret Recipe)

Salad with a secret Japanese twist, and it’s not wasabi.

Grilling the Tuna Steaks. I seasoned them with soysauce and honey.

Topped the Tuna with Radish mush and Ponzu Sauce. I actually made another one that was straight from the grill, as is, but I forgot to take a photo of it.

Dessert – Tiramisu
