Bill’s Birthday Dinner Menu (First Course – Baked Brie with Homemade Fig Jam)
I bought a pack of fresh figs from costco about 2 weeks ago. I couldn’t finish the whole pack and they were ripening quickly, so I decided to cook them with sugar and a bit of lemon juice.
Step 1: Buy Brie Cheese
Step 2: Cut in half
Step 3: Spread Fig Jam
Step 4: Wrap in Puff Pastry
Step 5: Brush with egg whites (from the Tiramisu recipe)
Step 6: Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
Step 7: Garnish
Main Course – Seared Ahi Tuna on a bed of Japanese Salad (Emily’s Secret Recipe)
Salad with a secret Japanese twist, and it’s not wasabi.
Grilling the Tuna Steaks. I seasoned them with soysauce and honey.
Topped the Tuna with Radish mush and Ponzu Sauce. I actually made another one that was straight from the grill, as is, but I forgot to take a photo of it.
Dessert – Tiramisu
Step 1: Take out from fridge
Final Step: Devour
Thanks for reading and Happy Birthday Bill!
