Since I’ll be waiting for the movers to deliver our sofa and TV stand today, I thought it would be a good time for me to go back to some dessert making.This is my recipe book by the way, I got this in HK last year.

Started off with Bill’s Coffee.

Soooo, they don’t sell Lucerne or Dairyland here, and they actually sell 2L milk in bags. PLASTIC BAGS.

These are the only Lady Fingers they have at Loblaw’s. For some reason there are a lot of grocery stores here and they are quite nice and new.

Layer. I used to whip the cream first, fold in the egg, and then into the Mascarpone, but I didn’t have enough space in my luggage to bring the Japanese recipe book, so I just took one from The Food Network. This one is more custard like and the Japanese version is more airy. Whichever floats your boat.

I put too much cocoa at the beginning, gonna put this in the fridge for a couple hours and eat it tonight.

Still waiting for our sofa…..
